POOLSIDE ROOM
The Poolside Room offers 2 Queen size beds only and a small patio to the courtyard. HONEYMOON JACUZZI SUITE

THINGS TO DO

Forty miles to the southwest, the Valley of Fire State Park is a red rock paradise for lovers of outdoor recreation. Appropriately named, the shades of sandstone cliffs are intensely red and especially take fire during the evening sunset. Probably the most famous formation in the park is the uniquely shaped "Elephant Arch". If you visit the Valley of Fire, don't miss it!

For lovers of water sport, is also just an 80-mile drive south. Fishermen pull good-sized bass from the warm waters daily, and water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, scuba-diving and splashing about near the shore are all popular. The largest man-made dam in the world, Hoover Dam, holds the lake together, and tours of the dam offer an eye-opening perspective of how complicated it can be to retain water.

Several lakes in southern Utah also offer good fishing and water sport opportunities within an hour or two's drive. Quail Creek and Gunlock State Park are great warm-water lakes for water sports or fishing; and Baker Reservoirs are stocked with trout. Lake Powell National Recreation Area, the largest man-made lake in the world, is just 200 miles east of Mesquite on the Utah-Arizona border.

Only an hour and a half away is the overwhelming beauty of Zion National Park. The huge towering cliffs, gorgeous greenery and clear springs and pools tempt visitors to find a secluded cave and never leave. One of the seven wonders of the west.

Bryce Canyon National Park, only a day trip away from Mesquite, is one of the most intricately weathered canyons on the planet. The formations of the canyon range in color from gleaming white to rich, deep red and pink. At sunset and sunrise many of the finely chiseled spires seem almost translucent, giving the canyon an unearthly beauty well worth witnessing.

The Grand Canyon National Park in northwestern Arizona is another day trip from the city worth taking. One of the seven wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon is defined by it's own name.
